Ex-proof Equipment
Explosion hazards are constantly present in many industries. There is always a risk of explosion when gases, vapors, mists or dust mix with oxygen from the air in the explosive range near the ignition source, so there is a possibility of releasing the so-called minimum ignition energy. Explosion-proof
equipment is designed in different types of protection in such a way that proper use can prevent an explosion. Local conditions must be divided into danger zones, specified by the user and the appropriate institution, in accordance with the frequency and duration of the risk of explosion, while devices (equipment) are categorized according to zones.
